Globally there are many fans of Pig soft toys. There’s just something about the round cudliness of pigs that makes you want to hug and squeeze a pig soft toy.
Soft pig toys are available in all shapes and sizes but usually all are shades of pink. Some are themed on the incredibly popular Peppa Pig TV show, others just represent generic cuddly pigs.
In the US pig soft toys are more usually referred to as plush pig toys, a term derived from the feeling of the soft fabric coverings of stuffed animals like pigs.
Some soft pig toys are inanimate, others have electronic components that make the pig walk or ‘talk’. There are even travel pillow soft pigs and microwaveable (yes really!) soft pigs to warm up the bed.
Usually we think of the pig as quite a large animal. The modern craze for miniature pigs has even spawned its own toy versions of mini soft pig toys.
